International Terms and Conditions - Science Kit

Pricing:

Science Kit & Boreal Laboratories will make every effort to maintain prices for the duration of the calendar year. However, prices are subject to change without prior notice.

All prices given are ex-works and additional packing, insurance, and freight charges will be added unless otherwise stated. For further information on packing and shipping charges, please contact our Bid and Quotation Coordinator at 585-321-9104.

Science Kit & Boreal Laboratories may be able to offer additional discounts for special projects, one-time bulk purchases, Government and Ministry tender opportunities, and school facility remodeling or rebuilding projects. For further information,please contact us.

Payment:

Purchase Orders: Science Kit & Boreal Laboratories accepts purchase orders from recognized educational institutions and organizations pre-approved for credit terms by Science Kit & Boreal Laboratories. Orders must include a purchase order number, phone number, and valid authorized signature.

Credit terms are net 30 days for all accounts approved by Science Kit & Boreal Laboratories. Past due invoice balances are subject to a 1.5% service charge per month.

Credit Cards: Most major credit cards are accepted, subject to Science Kit & Boreal Laboratories' approval. Science Kit & Boreal Laboratories reserves the right to refuse or limit the value of credit card payments for any reason. Include your name, telephone number, account number, expiration date, and signature.

Letter of Credit: Science Kit & Boreal Laboratories will only accept Letters of Credit confirmed by a US bank and containing terms approved by Science Kit & Boreal Laboratories. Minimum order value for a Letter of Credit is $10,000 USD.

For all other orders, payment will be made prior to order entry. Payment may be made by personal or corporate check, which will be held for clearance prior to order entry, or by wire transfer of funds deposited directly into Science Kit & Boreal Laboratories' US account.

Delivery:

Subject to stock availability, complete orders are normally shipped in 3-5 weeks. Certain circumstances, such as large order quantities, special voltage requirements, or special requests for non-catalogued items may result in a delay in shipment. We are pleased to provide a delivery quotation prior to order acceptance, upon request.

If partial shipments are allowed, items in stock that do not require special handling will be shipped immediately via Fedex, DHL, or UPS.

Returns:

No goods may be returned without first receiving a Return Authorization from Science Kit & Boreal Laboratories. Goods returned for credit or exchange must be unused, in original packaging, and arrive in saleable condition. Some goods may be subject to a restocking fee, to be determined by Science Kit & Boreal Laboratories.

Science Kit & Boreal Laboratories reserves the right to refuse or prorate the value of any return of goods that have been subject to use for other than which the item was intended, accident, abuse, or general neglect.

All returns to Science Kit & Boreal Laboratories must be shipped prepaid.

Warranty:

Unless otherwise stated, all goods manufactured by Science Kit & Boreal Laboratories have a limited warranty period of one year from ship date against any defect in materials and/or construction. All goods manufactured by anyone other than Science Kit & Boreal Laboratories are subject to warranty terms as provided by the original manufacturer.

Science Kit & Boreal Laboratories reserves the right to nullify any warranty for items that have been subject to abuse, alteration, accident, neglect, improper installation, or general misuse, at Science Kit & Boreal Laboratories' discretion.

Electrical:

All electrical items are shipped in the 110/120V, 60Hz configuration unless otherwise specified in the catalog or requested at time of entry. Almost all items are available in a variety of voltages so please specify any special voltage needs that may be required.

Website Presentation:

Science Kit & Boreal Laboratories makes every effort to insure that all website descriptions and images are accurate as presented. However, some products may occasionally vary in color or product details.

In the case that a product may no longer be available, Science Kit & Boreal Laboratories may substitute another product of similar specifications. Any substitution offered by Science Kit & Boreal Laboratories will always be of equal or higher quality than the unavailable item. Science Kit & Boreal Laboratories guarantees to never substitute a product of inferior quality for any item that may no longer be available.
