Product InformationDemonstrate the relationship between acceleration, mass, and center of gravity.This set includes two acceleration planes: one with two tracks of equal width (19 mm) and the other plane with three tracks, all of different widths (19 mm, 25 mm, and 37 mm). When two different-sized marbles are used on the equal-sized tracks, they will accelerate at different rates. But when the three different-sized marbles with radii each as wide as their respective tracks are released simultaneously, they will all accelerate at the same rate. Both planes are 121 cm x 15 cm, are made of varnished hardwood, and come complete with five steel marbles (one 19 mm diameter, one 37 mm diameter, and three 25 mm diameter) and instructions.
