Through careful crime scene investigation and analysis of physical evidence, students will learn to apply scientific methods to solve a case through six hands-on exercises. First, they'll learn to scope the crime scene during the Scene Mapping activity. Then, they'll gather facts and formulate conclusions based on physical evidence with activities for hair, soil, rope and trash analysis. Finally, proper documentation and interpretation is applied in the Police Evidence activity. Kit includes all physical evidence samples and supplies for investigation. Also includes an Instructor's Manual, Student Investigation Packets, and Material Safety Data Sheets.
