The material and design of this grid allows children to continually fold and unfold again and again to find equivalent fractions and decimals. The Flexitable will give students the opportunity to obtain a solid conceptual basis before moving to the symbolic level, and it will allow the students to review the concepts when they are in the symbolic level.
