Similar to our Boreal Digital SKope (55841-21 ) our high-end Digital/Analog Zoom Stereomicroscope offers USB &"plug and play&" connection; the built-in CCD camera delivers full-screen, full-color digital images of up to 414,000 pixels right to your computer while a video signal of 480 lines/inch sends the same image to your television monitor. Both can be connected simultaneously.

The Research Microscope model is offered with the same digital/video camera and software but is mounted on our Boreal Binocular Research Microscope with 4x, 10x, 40x and 100x (oil) objectives.

Both models ship with Motic Images Plus software on CD-ROM.This powerful software lets you capture a single image or a series of images (to create &"time lapse&" overviews of specimen development, growth and movement); manipulate and print images for quizzes or review; accurately measure length and area of microscopic features of specimens, record sound and more. Additional features include zoom function, automatic cell counting, data export, report generating and interactive file format.

Both models feature NTSC output and halogen illumination.

Minimum requirements: PC: Windows 98 or above, Mac: OS9.x, USB 1.0, 1.1 or 2.0 installed (some USB 2.0 cards may not be compatible), minimum 64 MB RAM (128 MB RAM recommended).
