Created to meet the demanding needs of AP microscopy challenges, these microscopes are equipped with exacting features. For research purposes, an centerable Abbe condenser is available for superior images using phase contrast, darkfield, or other specialized imaging techniques.

Precise and measured movements of the stage and fine focus pinpoint detailed structures. Optimum lighting is acheived through LED illumination with intesity control. A Seidentopf binocular head is also included for comfortable viewing over long sessions.

Student-friendly features include a large, heavy body for stable images and a sure grip slide holder to keep slides in place on the mechanical stage. Sealed objectives are protected from stains and oil, while the nose piece protects objectives. A cord rack also helps organize for easy and compact storage.
