Specially formulated plastic allows your students to actually see the light beam as it passes through the prism and lenses.
The convex and concave lenses have the same radius of curvature so they can be used one on top of the other. Each piece is 2 cm thick.
The set consists of: 1 double convex lens (7 cm long x 3 cm wide maximum, focal length 5 cm), 1 single convex lens (7 cm long x 1.5 cm wide maximum, focal length 10 cm), 1 double concave lens (7 cm long x 1.2 cm wide minimum, focal length 5 cm), and 1 trapezoid prism (5.2 x 7.5 cm along each side and 4 cm across; 90°, 90°, 60°, and 120° angles).
This set is an ideal accessory for demonstrations with the laser or rive ray box.
