The mysteries of magnets are revealed in a series of four activities, including one to make a paper clip fly. This kit, designed for older students, provides investigations into magnetic fields, force, and poles. Students use magnets and a variety of other materials to determine how magnets interact with different substances and each other. Developed by Rick Crosslin, each activity incorporates national standards. Includes materials for 15 student groups, an instructional DVD, and printed teacher’s guide with reproducible student worksheets. Grades 3–6.
