Product InformationAppropriate for Grades 9-12Add a charge to your electricity unit! An electric charge creates an electric field in the space surrounding it. In this new lab activity, developed by Physics Teacher Jeffrey M. Wetherhold, students map the electric field around various conductors (copper rings, copper strips and a copper &"house&"). They plot voltage readings obtained from the surrounding field on graph paper and then draw in the electric field lines and equipotential lines to create a pictorial view of the field. Required but not included: Digital Multimeter with Probe (69507-00), Power Souce (64250-41), and a Ring Stand with Clamp and Support Rod (63100-01). Tell a Friend about this item
