Product InformationPerform vegetation studies to assess the plants growing in an area. In this field ecology activity, students will use a meter quadrant square and surveyor flags to stake out one square meter of ground in up to seven locations, and then examine the insects and other organisms found there. The groups share information, compare differences, and identify like organisms within each quadrant. Students can also perform leaf litter studies. Developed by Deborah Mann.
