Product InformationThis apparatus consists of three circular polarizing filters, a clear adjustable glass window housed in a wood frame. Keeping the two outer filters fixed, one in a horizontal and the other in the vertical axis, the middle filter can be rotated to change its axis orientation. The glass plate can be adjusted between 0 and 90 degrees of sight. We have never seen polarizing lenses set up so you can easily manipulate the axis. Each polarizer can be rotated or removed out of the line of sight. The optical axes can be placed in the horizontal OR vertical and the affect can be seen. There is also a glass window that can be adjusted from 0 degrees to 90 degrees and depending on the polarizing axis-- glare is cut down just like polarized sun glasses - COOL AND AMAZING! Three activities are explained in the teacher's guide. Developed by Hasan Fakhruddin. Recommended for grades 11 -12 Tell a Friend about this item
