The award-winning Snap Circuit Series uses building blocks with snaps to build electrical and electronic circuit projects. Each block has a function and the blocks come in different colors and are numbered so you can easily identify them. SC100R is designed especially for elementary students, who in the process of building 100 experiements will learn about resistors, capacitors, transistors, motors, batteries, switches and series/parellel circuits. SC300R uses 300 experiements - from simple light circuits to radios and burglar alarms to cover basic components and circuits, motors and electricity, resistance, capacitors, transistors, oscillators and elctronic sound, integrated circuits, electromagnetism and radio. The 500 experiments in the SC500R continue where SC300R left off and cover meters, transformers and FM radio; diodes and applications; and electronic switches. Each Snap Circuits set includes experiment manual, student guide and parts organizer/storage box, and require two “AA” (not included).
