Use the IllumaBase with IllumaSlides or IllumaBoxes (included) for viewing pond specimens and protozoa without petri dishes or external lighting. The TeachCam camera incorporates a razor sharp lens that focuses down to 0.6 cm and delivers a high-resolution image (370 lines horizontal x 400 lines vertical). It is compatible with NTSC and PAL systems, so you can send the image to a television, computer monitor, VCR or a digitizer board. Color is captured in virtually any lighting condition, down to 1.5 lux. The unit comes with three microscope adapters, so you can use it with almost any microscope. It has a built in microphone and comes with a 6m extension cable. This is truly a versatile teaching camera that will adapt to almost any classroom use you can imagine. The TeachCam w/ IllumaBase comes with all of its accessories packed in a carrying case for storage and portability. This unit is UL listed and operates on 120V, AC. Includes: hardware for hookup to TV and VCR, 1.5 m cable for hookup to output unit, a 6 m extension cable, 3 microscope adapters, IllumaBoxes and IllumaSlides and a Wooden Carrying Case.
